Глава 9

1 Царица Савская услышала о славе Соломоновой и пришла в Иерусалим испытать Соломона загадками, с весьма большим богатством. Верблюды навьючены были благовониями и множеством золота и драгоценных камней. И пришла к Соломону, и беседовала с ним обо всем, что было у ней на сердце.

2 И объяснил ей Соломон все слова ее, и не было ничего непонятного для Соломона, чего бы он не изъяснил ей

3 Когда увидела царица Савская мудрость Соломонову, и дом, который он построил,

4 И пищу за столом его, и жилище рабов его, и стройность служащих ему, и одежду их, и виночерпиев его, и одежду их, и ход, которым он ходил в дом Господа: тогда не стало уже в ней духа.

5 И сказала царю: истинно слово, которое я слышала в земле своей о делах твоих и о мудрости твоей.

6 Однако ж я не верила словам их, пока не пришла, и не увидели глаза мои. Но вот, мне и в половину не сказано о превосходстве мудрости твоей, ты превышаешь молву, какую я слышала.

7 Блаженны люди твои и блаженны сии слуги твои, всегда предстоящие пред тобою и слышащие мудрость твою.

8 Да будет благословен Господь Бог твой, Которому благоугодно было посадить тебя на престол Свой, чтоб ты был царем у Господа, Бога твоего, по любви Бога твоего к Израилю; чтоб утвердить его на век, Он поставил тебя царем над ним, творить суд и правду.

9 И подарила царю сто двадцать талантов золота, и большое множество благовоний и драгоценных камней; не бывало таких благовоний, какие подарила царица Савская царю Соломону.

10 И подданные Хурамовы и подданные Соломоновы, которые привезли золото из Офира, привезли и красного дерева и драгоценных камней.

11 Из красного сего дерева сделал царь лестницы к дому Божию и к дому царскому, и гусли и псалтири для певцов. Подобного сему не видано было прежде в земле Иудейской.

12 И царь Соломон дал царице Савской все, чего она желала, и чего просила, кроме того, что она привезла царю. И она отправилась обратно в свою землю, она и служащие при ней.

13 В золоте, которое приходило Соломону в один год, весу было шесть сот шестьдесят шесть талантов золота,

14 Сверх того, что получаемо было от разнощиков товара, и что доставляли купцы, и сверх золота и серебра, которое доставляли Соломону все цари Аравийские, и областные начальники.

15 И сделал царь Соломон двести больших щитов из смешанного золота (шесть сот сиклей смешанного золота пошло на каждый щит).

16 И триста меньших щитов из смешанного золота (триста сиклей пошло на каждый щит), и положил их царь в доме, построенном из Ливанского леса.

17 Еще сделал царь большой престол из слоновой кости, и обложил его чистым золотом;

18 И шесть ступеней к престолу, и золотое подножие к престолу прикреплено, и у того места, где сидеть, по ту и по другую сторону локотники; возле локотников стоят два льва.

19 И еще двенадцать львов стоят там на шести ступенях, по ту и по другую сторону. Подобного сему не бывало ни в одном царстве.

20 И все сосуды для питья у царя Соломона были золотые, и все сосуды в доме Ливанского дерева из отборного золота. Серебра не было, оно во дни Соломоновы считалось ни во что;

21 Потому что у царя были корабли, ходившие в Фарсис с подданными Хурама. В три года раз приходили корабли Фарсисские, привозившие золото и серебро, слоновую кость, и обезьян, и павлинов.

22 Царь Соломон превосходил всех царей земли богатством и мудростью;

23 И все цари земли искали видеть Соломона, чтобы послушать мудрости его, которую вложил Бог в сердце его.

24 И они подносили всяк от себя в дар сосуды серебряные и сосуды золотые, и одежды, оружие и благовония, и коней и лошаков из году в год.

25 И было у Соломона четыре тысячи конских стойл, и колесницы, и двенадцать тысяч всадников; он расставил их в колесничных городах, и у царя в Иерусалиме.

26 И он владел всеми царями, начиная от реки Ефрата до земли Филистимской и до пределов Египта.

27 И сделал царь серебро в Иерусалиме равным простому каменью и кедры, по их множеству, сделал равными сикоморам, растущим на низких местах.

28 Коней приводили к Соломону из Египта и из всех земель.

29 Прочие деяния Соломоновы, первые и последние, описаны в записях Нафана пророка и в пророчестве Ахии Силомлянина и в книге видений прозорливца Иейдона, пророчествовавшего об Иеровоаме, сыне Наватовом.

30 Царствовал Соломон в Иерусалиме над всем Израилем сорок лет.

31 И опочил Соломон с отцами своими, и похоронили его в городе Давида, отца его. Вместо его сделался царем сын его, Ровоам.

2 Chronicles

Chapter 9

1 AND when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to test Solomon with enigmas. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great company, and camels bearing spices and gold in abundance and precious stones; and when she was come to King Solomon, she told him all that was in her heart.

2 And King Solomon told her every secret that was in her heart; and there was nothing hidden from the king which he could not tell her.

3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon and the house that he had built

4 And the food of his table and the seating of his servants and the attendance of his ministers and their apparel, his cupbearers also and their apparel, and the sacrifices that he offered in the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit left in her to see more.

5 And she said to King Solomon, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom;

6 Howbeit I did not believe their words until I came and my eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; for you exceed the report which I heard.

7 Happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom.

8 Blessed be the LORD your God, who has chosen you and set you on the throne of the kingdom of Israel; because the LORD loved Israel, he has made you king over them for ever, to do judgment and justice.

9 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones; there were no such spices in the world as those which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

10 And the servants also of Hiram and the servants of King Solomon brought gold from Ophir.

11 And they also brought algum wood for stools for the house of the LORD and for the house of King Solomon, and harps for singers, and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

12 And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she asked, besides that which he had already given, and he told her all that was in her heart. So she turned and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,

14 Besides the taxes from the cities and the traffic which the merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought silver and gold to Solomon.

15 And King Solomon made two hundred shields of fine gold; six hundred shekels of fine gold went into each shield.

16 And he made three hundred shields of fine gold; three hundred shekels of fine gold went to the handle of each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 And there were six steps to the throne, and the rim of the throne encircled from behind it, with armrests on each side of the seat, and two lions standing behind the armrests.

19 And twelve lions stood there, on the one side and on the other side upon the six steps. There was not the like ever made in any kingdom.

20 And all the vessels of the service of King Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the king's treasuries were of pure gold; silver was not accounted as anything in the days of Solomon.

21 For the king had ships that went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram; once every three years the ships of Tarshish came loaded with silver and gold, elephants, apes, and peacocks.

22 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear the wisdom that the LORD had put into his heart.

24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver and vessels of gold and garments, myrrh and spices, horses and mules, a fixed amount year by year.

25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he placed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.

26 And Solomon ruled over all the kings from the river Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

27 And King Solomon made silver as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedar trees as the sand that is by the sea in abundance.

28 And they brought to Solomon horses from Egypt and from all lands.

29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem forty years over all Israel.

31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David his father; and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

5 И сказала царю: истинно слово, которое я слышала в земле своей о делах твоих и о мудрости твоей.

5 And she said to King Solomon, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom;

6 Однако ж я не верила словам их, пока не пришла, и не увидели глаза мои. Но вот, мне и в половину не сказано о превосходстве мудрости твоей, ты превышаешь молву, какую я слышала.

6 Howbeit I did not believe their words until I came and my eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; for you exceed the report which I heard.

7 Блаженны люди твои и блаженны сии слуги твои, всегда предстоящие пред тобою и слышащие мудрость твою.

7 Happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom.

8 Да будет благословен Господь Бог твой, Которому благоугодно было посадить тебя на престол Свой, чтоб ты был царем у Господа, Бога твоего, по любви Бога твоего к Израилю; чтоб утвердить его на век, Он поставил тебя царем над ним, творить суд и правду.

8 Blessed be the LORD your God, who has chosen you and set you on the throne of the kingdom of Israel; because the LORD loved Israel, he has made you king over them for ever, to do judgment and justice.

9 И подарила царю сто двадцать талантов золота, и большое множество благовоний и драгоценных камней; не бывало таких благовоний, какие подарила царица Савская царю Соломону.

9 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones; there were no such spices in the world as those which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

10 И подданные Хурамовы и подданные Соломоновы, которые привезли золото из Офира, привезли и красного дерева и драгоценных камней.

10 And the servants also of Hiram and the servants of King Solomon brought gold from Ophir.

11 Из красного сего дерева сделал царь лестницы к дому Божию и к дому царскому, и гусли и псалтири для певцов. Подобного сему не видано было прежде в земле Иудейской.

11 And they also brought algum wood for stools for the house of the LORD and for the house of King Solomon, and harps for singers, and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

12 И царь Соломон дал царице Савской все, чего она желала, и чего просила, кроме того, что она привезла царю. И она отправилась обратно в свою землю, она и служащие при ней.

12 And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she asked, besides that which he had already given, and he told her all that was in her heart. So she turned and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

13 В золоте, которое приходило Соломону в один год, весу было шесть сот шестьдесят шесть талантов золота,

13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,

14 Сверх того, что получаемо было от разнощиков товара, и что доставляли купцы, и сверх золота и серебра, которое доставляли Соломону все цари Аравийские, и областные начальники.

14 Besides the taxes from the cities and the traffic which the merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought silver and gold to Solomon.

15 И сделал царь Соломон двести больших щитов из смешанного золота (шесть сот сиклей смешанного золота пошло на каждый щит).

15 And King Solomon made two hundred shields of fine gold; six hundred shekels of fine gold went into each shield.

16 И триста меньших щитов из смешанного золота (триста сиклей пошло на каждый щит), и положил их царь в доме, построенном из Ливанского леса.

16 And he made three hundred shields of fine gold; three hundred shekels of fine gold went to the handle of each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

17 Еще сделал царь большой престол из слоновой кости, и обложил его чистым золотом;

17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 И шесть ступеней к престолу, и золотое подножие к престолу прикреплено, и у того места, где сидеть, по ту и по другую сторону локотники; возле локотников стоят два льва.

18 And there were six steps to the throne, and the rim of the throne encircled from behind it, with armrests on each side of the seat, and two lions standing behind the armrests.

19 И еще двенадцать львов стоят там на шести ступенях, по ту и по другую сторону. Подобного сему не бывало ни в одном царстве.

19 And twelve lions stood there, on the one side and on the other side upon the six steps. There was not the like ever made in any kingdom.

20 И все сосуды для питья у царя Соломона были золотые, и все сосуды в доме Ливанского дерева из отборного золота. Серебра не было, оно во дни Соломоновы считалось ни во что;

20 And all the vessels of the service of King Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the king's treasuries were of pure gold; silver was not accounted as anything in the days of Solomon.

21 Потому что у царя были корабли, ходившие в Фарсис с подданными Хурама. В три года раз приходили корабли Фарсисские, привозившие золото и серебро, слоновую кость, и обезьян, и павлинов.

21 For the king had ships that went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram; once every three years the ships of Tarshish came loaded with silver and gold, elephants, apes, and peacocks.

22 Царь Соломон превосходил всех царей земли богатством и мудростью;

22 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

23 И все цари земли искали видеть Соломона, чтобы послушать мудрости его, которую вложил Бог в сердце его.

23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear the wisdom that the LORD had put into his heart.

24 И они подносили всяк от себя в дар сосуды серебряные и сосуды золотые, и одежды, оружие и благовония, и коней и лошаков из году в год.

24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver and vessels of gold and garments, myrrh and spices, horses and mules, a fixed amount year by year.
